My brothers best pal, Stu ; his mother worked at the Forum in LA , She got us tickets for every show within the first 5 rows . In the early 70s we were young, 14 and 16 , had the pleasure of this band (and all the bands that came to LA ) how lucky can a bunch of kids be ?

it is my understanding , please correct me if wrong , that this album and Deja vu were to be one double album ? they were released only 6 months apart . it defines the late 60s .the anti war demonstrations , the distrust in the government .

this wave is nice , but it is not even close to Mavericks; this is 6-8ft . triple it , thats Mavericks , Half Moon Bay is a nice little town just North of Santa Cruz ; surfing since I was 14 ; 1969 Im 56 and still get out ther from time to time .

Regardless of you Ideology ,creed ,ethnic origin ,political view, this is a great piece of music ; I t has the ability to convey emotion . I enjoyed it very much . Thank you for making it possible for all to enjoy it .

brings me back to a great and wonderful time of huge social change , the growing horrible viet-nam war, the move to stop the government from continuing the lie it forced upon the world , women demanding there equality , glad I was there to witness it !
