cont, there was justification, but there wasn't and it was just a brutal beating. I also fully doubt that the "fob" who can barely speak English arranged the supposed the 20v2 and so there is no moral support for the 7 jumping the kid.
Well the Church wasn't really against Science in the past. According to David Linderbeg's "Science in the Middle Ages", the Church actually supported and helped science.
