Oct. 28 2011 - Tonight the equipment is all turned in. The Lions sang their fight song for the last time in 2011 and will soon enough no doubt be working on dribbling and shooting skills as basketball season came earlier than hoped for our fine group of boys. Got beat today 12 - 0. Just couldn't get it done. Many return for a shot at the title in 2012. For some it's a move up to the senior league and a new team. Time marches on.

Tonight is Trick or Treat night at practice. Come as you are or don't come at all! We have to be really ready to roll for Saturday.
Saturday game against the Chargers is at 12:30 by the way. All players should be at the field at 11:30am

Fun, Engaging video. You guys all gave a great effort Saturday. Like any great team you're starting to play together and excel at just the right time. Playoffs tomorrow!!! Good luck to you ALL!

Be at the field at 5:30 in your game uniform ready to rock. We play the 49ers at 6:20.

October 22 - Our game is tonight at 8pm. Players are to be at the field at 7pm. WELL RESTED! No one needs to be there for hours before the game. Stay home till its time.

Saturday Nights Alright For Fighting but not neccessarily winning as we found out against the Jaguars who beat us 10 - 8. A great pass play on their part. An onside kick and our general inability to move the ball where we should hurt us in the end. The Jags are tough and they came to play. This weekend its the Eagles and we have key players OUT. So this will be interesting.

I appreciate the feedback! I enjoy putting together the videos and hope everyone is at least entertained when watching them. I gear them specifically for the kids to enhance their experience as a member of the Lions.

4th Game was a 2010 Superbowl rematch. Lions win 14 - 0 and improve to 3 -1 on the season. Grreat overall defensive efforts. The aerial attack was grounded from the start and few runs around the outside got anywhere. Meanwhile our offense got on track in the second half and and Pierson scored on two long runs. Zach also had great runs to his credit. So it is Pizza and a movie night for the Lions on Thursday!
