My life is a result of walking in faith and following after my own passions and desires rather than giving in to the criticisms of less optimistic people of the world. I wouldn't be where I am today without taking the risks and rising to the challenges that God brought my way. I've played professional basketball in the ABA, the CBA, and now own the Florida Flight, a professional team that currently plays in the CBL.
Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight in the Lord, and He will give you the Desires of your heart." This Psalm has remained true in my life. I've always wanted to excel in basketball, and despite the setbacks and failures I've endured, I kept my faith, and did what I felt God wanted me to do. I focused on keeping God the first priority of my life, and He has rewarded me with opportunity as a player, Team Owner and Head Coach.
Our dreams are the road map that God uses to get us to where He intends for us to be. Don't live a boring life...life the life God has for you.
