@mtphileman: you should definitely go for an intake! My advise go with an Injen cai it has good power gains and gives an amazing sound! And as for the si you should be able to beat it since you've got a v6 :)

I hate when people start hating on the si with their ms3, sti, and evo will smoke this thing bull shit cause all thoughs cars have something in common keyword TURBO!! where eles do you see a four cylinder engine producing that much power and speed without turbos hu?

Even though the 2012 may not look faster, it slightly is and will pull away from an 8th gen slowly, but throw in intake, exhaust and headers on the 8th and that 9th is toast, but how will the 9th perform once thoughs parts are available for it?? only time will tell us it seems -_-

2012 si should've kept the k20 and its 9k rpm, you don't really hear that vtec roar like you would in the 8th gen, honestly I think my civic ex with its Injen cai sounds just like that, but oh well I think I might end up with a 2013 so might as well start getting used to this new si

I don't think Honda did to good of a job with this new Si, I'm even willing to bet this will be the last generation of them produced, they already discontinued civics in Japan, only a matter of time before it happens in the U.S. as well..they should just bring the prelude back or the acura integr...

i gotta say im impressed with that tc, most of them spend like 1 or 2k to get it supercharged and they cant even beat an si, this one took an sti..not bad not bad :)

Okay, either the new 9th gen. Civic are just as fast as the 8th or that guy can't drive for shit! How can a car with a hell of a lot more torque do the same 0-60 time as the previous models wich had less torque, I say it was the guy who can't drive who agrees?!

thats not an acura damit, its an actual civic, just buy the conversian kit off of pro civic, it changes the front bumper headlights and grill, it also adds the skirts a rear bumper with new tail lights to fit it and the jdm spoiler can be purchased as well. expensive conversian but its no acura, ...

@BuzasKseries, that thing just sounds like all the other nasty sounding civics i've seen, my civics got a hell of alot more balls than that thing does and it doesnt have that ugly nasty "race setup" and sounds better too
