Thirteen: Volume One is a collection of 113 short horror stories. The first of these stories: "The Magic" is widely regarded as the scariest thing ever written, and even got the book banned in Italy. Here is an introduction and then my thoughts directly after reading the story. (Sorry that the latter part was slightly unstructured... it is a very scary book) :L

'The Dare' is genuinely TERRIFYING. You cannot try it alone; you need at least one other person to do it with you. It takes about an hour to do and you MUST follow the instructions to the letter for it to work.
