Yeah i want to go there one of these days. Theres way more imports down there. some pretty fast ones too. I live right down the park where they have the car show so ill prob be there checking out the cars. I just have basic upgrades on my car. I dont know how much you know about subarus but i have the turbo, intercooler, and fuel injectors off a 05 Sti. The sti is the suuped up version of the wrx. The sti's come with 300hp stock, while the wrx only has about 230hp stock. 3'' exhaust, and just put on a cold air intake and went external wastegate on the turbo. you prob couldn't hear it at the track, but its LOUD on the street.

I have heard Sac street legal nights are packed and you can only get 2-3 passes if your lucky. I would like to go there once though. I am tired of racing the same people in Redding. The Sacramento track used to be good then it went to crap and now its better.

Maybe just go with 91 for safety..wouldn't want to detonate your new motor. Your from Orland? Dude, im from Willows haha. It is far, but its either redding or sacramento.. People say its a faster track than redding but who knows. It is at a lower elevation thats for sure, but i think they have their street legals on wed nights which sucks when you have to work. yeah man that would be cool to get a ride in your chevelle.

It is going to have 10.3 to 1 compression which means I SHOULD be able to run it on 89 if I want with the aluminum heads. I can't wait to feel the difference compared to my stocker 350. Starting this september I am going to be going to school about 10 minutes away from the track so I should be able to make it alot more often. Right now I live in Orland which is about an hour south so its a pain to make the trip.

Yeah man it was pretty loud... when you say pump gas your talking about 91? whats the compression ratio on your new motor? 600 all motor! Damn that thing is gonna be a handful to say the least lol. I saw you run that 13.04.... dude you are so close! Yeah that 2 step sounded pretty cool on the street. Was it pretty loud? I never heard it outside of the car.
I broke another 5 speed in my car on the street so I sold both of them and bought a really nice th400 and I am almost done paying off my new motor. Its a pump gas 406 with a hydraulic roller cam with about .600 lift. Should make around 570-600hp on motor and over 800hp with a 225 shot of nitrous. Hoping for low 11's on motor and high 9's on nitrous. Built it so I can still drive it everyday.
I put my 350 in my brother's 70 nova that should be ready for the track in a couple weeks. It has an automatic and is a couple hundred pounds lighter than my car was so it should run good. I was there with that orange and white truck teaching my brother how to do it. That truck is so slow though!

How come you didnt race last night? I only did two passes ran a 13.04 first run, sixty foot was a 1.86 my best sixty foot ever. So close to those 12's haha. My clutch was starting to slip though, after the first run you could really smell it. Second run was a 13.1 with 1.9 sixty.
