I last danced professionally in December 2010 and hope it won't be the last dance gig ever. The work at the opera is physical and my dance training often comes in handy - but it is not full-out dancing; at least not lately.
I get to Chicago on Monday - my GF just called and said we're going out to a good Mexican Restaurant upon my arrival: I'm like, so psyched!

I miss my job! They better hurry up and call me for another one (or i will have to kick some butt!). Heather, did you ever hear of 'the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald'? It is a song from the 80's about a freighter that sank in Lake Superior. Since I'm heading for Lake Michigan and Chicago, I thought it would be neat to learn that song. Turns out it has an early music style to it, like a Gregorian chant.... called Dorian mode. Everything has roots.

Oh, and my friend's double hernia was due to imperfect posture, and lack of exercise, along with a winter depression: his GF asked for a 'break'. So stay active, hold yourself tall and proud and don't let guys break your heart, sweetheart!

Heather, the show is over; did the final performance last night (*snif). There was a friendly atmosphere and people had fun. There is an unspoken tradition in the Bastille: the last show in the run is where you can 'cut up', maybe play micro-jokes onstage. Sometimes it gets out of hand, IMO. Keeps me on my toes!

Zippcast (2 p's) is a lot like youtube only smaller. Go to zippcast/main and sign up if you like. Plenty of friends have already set up shop there, but maybe life on Youtube will continue with people adapting to the changes.

So I opened an account on zippcast under the name of : ReasonforBeing Now we will wait and see. Maybe we will be toggling from YT to zippcast soon. Not sure the people behind zippcast are ready for the traffic.

Talked to the injured friend I will replace yet again tonight. He has a double hernia in his spinal discs and will be slowed down for a while. I told him to call me when he's well enough to swim; that I would join him.
However, with the cold wave (I know 'fuck the weather'! lol) we now have (28° fahrenheit), this fat cat (me!) shuns water!

The owl calling you a dove, haha (ofpart has an avatar of an owl just now). A special banner on my channel announces all channels will be changed to the new format on March 7th, 2012. The comment section goes to a back page and I heard you can only reread 3 pages back, so all comments are quickly lost. There is no background and profile is less visible. All kinds of nice little 'improvements' to take the fun out it and make it more commercial. For those that make videos, it might be bearable. Perhaps chatting on videos will still be do-able. The end of the world has been announced for December 31st; Youtube as we know it will end next month. Let's enjoy it while we can! The end of days, lol!
