Music has always been a harbor for my soul (other's music as well as my own songs)
It's where I allow myself to feel what I feel - let it all take flight - even if my feelings go against all better judgement of 'reality' .
A quote I took from a friend's site:
'Music is the medicine to the breaking heart ' ...
I add: ' But (as with most medicines), it can't completely cure the ail, yet it will bring relief, even if, paradoxically, it might make you hurt even harder for a moment ... (when listening to certain songs is what I mean)
But hurting is the first part of wanting to heal and knowing that something needs to change ...
I believe that the music and lyrics we like are a pretty good mirror of ourselves
(beware what you listen to ... LOL)
Despite all kinds of differences we may have as people, there will always be songs that can make us feel united - or make us see things in a different way (hopefully a better one)
The musical horizon and all of its diversity is astounding and endless ...(it honestly amazes me how many videos I keep finding here )
Also endless are the things we can laugh about when we can see the funny sides to so many things in life ...(don't remind me of the sort of things where there just isn't a funny side at all)
And for 'tears' - they can at times be endless too ... but don't let them.
And don't say 'Never' - and don't say 'Forever' 'cause we just don't ever really know.
The craziest and most unpredictable things can happen at any time ... (good or bad)
And on last thought: Should always give all we can and not keep our heart in prison ... yet, at the same time be careful who to trust and give a part of our heart to ... Tricky one? ... I know

Let me express my sincere thanks and respect to those who keep uploading music videos - especially with all the copyright stuff that's going on - I honestly don't know how you guys manage to get your uploads through ...
When I started to upload, I got as far as 2 videos (one was a great live performance by Eric Clapton which nobody else had uploaded at the time) and I received an immediate warning from YouTube and my videos were stopped from being viewed.
I didn't want to risk having my account shut down - so I backed down and decided to leave the uploading of music videos to those more determined and courageous than me.
Again, all respect to those guys and girls who upload great stuff and beat the system ... brilliant 'rebels' with a good cause and course !
My channel here wouldn't have much going on, were it not for their uploads - and the videos that go into my Favorites

PS. Would be great if you'd check out some of my own songs @GABRIELEsongs
No copyright restrictions going on there ... lol it's all my own stuff ... the link is below

I appreciate that you like the song in my favs .. but to address me as "Head Louse" - that's rude.
I know I made a joke about a woodlouse some time ago - but you are taking my joke too far.
(guess you'll call me "Pubic Louse" next...and think it's a great piece of humor ...)
Well, seems we always end up clashing about something .... don't we ...
I knew I'd heard that name before, and finally it came to me that there was once and
'Indian,' restaurant in this city by the same name. It may still be there.
Pretty cool.
but maybe we'll better leave that for another day ........................
