The R6's had an issue with the tank protruding too far out the side. In some cases in a crash, the tank would rupture. Looks like what happened here. Was this a novice class??? Why were other riders stopping on the track? Another rider target fixated and crashed, also.

Reverse shifting only comes into play when you actually shift. This poor slob couldn't work the clutch to take off in first.

I hate to Monday morning quarterback, but if it was just a track day, why would you attempt to stuff another rider on the inside? Racing is another thing altogether, but for track days, this is a perfect example of why I am a big fan of outside-only passing...
