You are exactly right!! And when it comes down to it, my safety is much more important than my attacker's safety. I find it funny that the charge would be assault, they should introduce new charges called over-the top self-defense.

My old TaeKwonDo club had a minimum age of 6. I wish it was lowered so I could see more moves like this. But it still brought back the good memories.
