WHO IS MELINDA ROSS?
Hi, my name is Melinda Ross, and I am the contributing author and creator of WealthBiz4Life.com.
The reason why I started my Myspace profile is because I was just so sick and tired of working 10 to 15 hours a day. I just hated working on-call for someone else, making all the money and having to pay them half. What was really painful was that I could never spend quality time with my beautiful daughter, never made the PTA meetings, teachers barely knew who I was and watching her grow up before my eyes with no "good-times" memories. And that's why I started my own internet business online and created my MySpace profile because I want to meet, network and give back to other newbie entrepreneurs who are in the same situation just like I was, and hopefully my story can help inspire you to discover a better alternative just like I did when I started being my own boss and making money online. But before I get into all of that, let me just tell you a little bit more about myself...
I'm originally from Akron, Ohio, but always worked in the Cleveland area. I hated the snow with an absolute passion! Let me tell you, I have worked every job imaginable. I sold Kirby Sweepers, Cutco Knives, telemarketer, Quixtar/Amway, LocalNet, office assitant, BankOne bank teller. I even tried slinging newspapers in the morning. I love to relax. Being a single mom, you cherish any "me time" you can find. I love to hang out with my girlfriends, movies, shopping, new restaurants, reading, goinh to church, working out, and try new recipes. I also love to travel!
For as long as I can remember, my three siblings and I grew up very poor. There was always a utility cut of, ragedy clothing, not enough food and dealing with a severly alcoholic father that eventually left us and our mother to fiend for ourselves. But my mom was so strong and always somehow had a meal on the table. She was amazing. You know, I thank God for those hard times because when you do taste success, it means so much more to you.
Well, growing up as a teenager I eventually lost my mind. I hung out with the wrong crowd, dated the wrong guys and eventually became a teenage mom at the age of 19. That's when life really got hard. One minute I'm on my way to Ohio State and the next minute I'm on welfare, foodstamps, depressed, borderline suicidal, and I absolutely hated my life. I eventually decided to rededicate my life to Christ and start over. I went back to school and became a court reporter.
Well, the money started rolling in, but my time and my health were being taken from me. I eventually fell back into depression and just felt like a failure as a mother. What good is money if you can't enjoy it and spend time with your family and friends.
All of that changed when I accidentally fell upon a website, and I guy named Vick began to speak. The words that came out of his mouth completely changed my life. You know I always thought that MySpace and all of these other sites were for little teenage girls and boys trying to hook up, but Vick's website competely opened my eyes and now I'm starting to see that, yeah, you really can make money on the internet and use MySpace to boot! Because c'mon, just face it, if you're reading this right now, isn't this the exact same way you found me? See what I mean. MySpace and YouTube marketing really work.
So that's why I created this MySpace page. This really changed my life and I would love to network and work with like-minded people and really get the word out.
