I wonder why Popcorn uses sugar in his wash. As far as i know you can never make a real whisky using sugar in wash. I am also surprised that he says slow run of the still creates a perfect spirit, but he runs his still rather quickly.

Ralfy, do you have any idea why rye whiskys are not produced so widely like barley or corn whiskys? Is this Rittenhouse made of malted rye or just rye? Yes, i also noticed that Ralfy's voice in this video is a bit muffled compared to what was earlier. Something should be done about it.

Bunnahabhain 12 doesn't taste like Islay whiskys. It is good but the only problem with it is sulfur.

Got a bottle of this bunna 12 craft version. I find too much wood influence here, which masks other flavours. Other thing i dont like here is too much sulphur. Tastes like swallowing a match box.

Ralfy, i just checked that u gave arberg 10, 90 points and u give QC 90 points. In my opinion Arber 10 is way better stuff. Do u really take these two whiskeys as equal?

Ralfy, what about whiskey bars? If u wish to try a new whiskey at the bar and u see a bottle with a little whiskey left in it, it might be risky to buy a dram, as u might not get the best of the spirit.

The other day i had Laphroiag 10 and Bubahabahain 12 (craft version) side by side. It is interesting to note that Laphroig 10 (containing E150) was much ligther in color than Bubahabhain 12 craft version without caramel.

I've been waiting for this review. Just several hours ago I bought a bottle of Elijah Craig 12 and Evan Williams Black Label. So happy i got Elijah Craig just for roughly 12 pounds a bottle.

We had on the same day JW black label, Speyburn 10, and Laphroaig 10. Black label was definetelly the worst of the three. In where i live Speyburn costs about 20 percent cheaper that JW, and Laphroaig is only about 3 euros more expensive that JW.
