i had a panasonic plasma with nice sharp picture. but I then i got a LCD samsung 120 hz and it gave me that life like real picture that makes you go wow on blue rays. some people get freaked out with the LED/LCD blue ray picture so plasma is better for them. But i love it.

guy is way off.. the main differance is that LCD 120 hz and up give you that life like real picture that may freak some people out. It is super clear. Plasma wont do that at all. Plasma will only give you a sharp picture but no wow effect that the LCD will give you.
