the t56 is out of an lt1 trans am. if you use a 350 with a 1 piece rear main seal and an lt1 flywheel the transmission bolts right up with the factory trans am bellhousing.

Plenty of room to get at the rear header bolts. The dist has plenty of clearance between the firewall, but I had to take out the hood latch because my distributor is too tall. I don't like it, but the hood is held down with hood pins now.

the exhaust is run all the way out the rear valence, through quad tips like a corvette. I might go back and put in a crossover "x" pipe and change the mufflers and tips this winter.
