I've had the exact same bug, only my sims gathered outside the theatre all the time and if I ever called the repairman or maid service they wouldn't turn up and would just join the crowd and charge me anyway! she's talking about light sources and how they effect make up. So using an energy saving bulb changes the level of lighting and could make it more difficult to apply make up.
You are being too rough with that Guinea Pig. You shouldn't throw around an animal against their will. You can see the Guinea Pig wiggling its legs that means it doesn't want you to do it and is trying to escape. Doesn't take a genius to work that out.
