I'm kind of new to using YT. Basically, I'm into drawing, comics, and things like anime and horror. There are more things I'm interested in. Really, I'm just considered to be down to earth by other people. I do enjoy getting insight on others opinions. Maybe that's the reason why I decided to start visiting youtube. I'm from SC, just living my life and enjoying it as a student at the Arts Institute of Pittsburgh.
While on YT, my intentions were to watch some movies and those shows that don't come on any more. I just figured out that there are tons of racial debates, and racist to go alone with them. These topics have opened my eyes. I have more black pride and black self awareness than ever before.
HOT DAYUMN!!! You cannot tell me black people are not aware of the racial issues that are going on. If we weren't aware or didn't care, we would not be watching these videos that people post up. We know something is going down and something is going wrong. All of this light skin, high yellow, brown skin, dark skin, red bone,black bone, and wanting to gain the wish bone to whiteness is bull crap." We are all still black people. We all vary in so many shades. There is beauty in all my people. You may say "well, he or she is ugly" Stop looking at what you see in the current position. Look at the potential that a black person or other type of person can have once they fix themselves up and take care of themselves. You people that go on about how someone's looks lack creativity.
I think of black people as X- men sometimes. We can be outcast to society but at the same time, we all have our unique and special attributes and gifts. In the X-men stories, there are bad x-men (irrational thinking black people) and the good x-men (The rational and decent thinking black people). The X -men learn to live with each other despite the way they look and what kind of powers they have. Some do have beefs with one another. Yeah, I know this comparison was off the wall. lol. The story of X -men is actually an inspirational story to the people who feel like outcasts in society. Gays, blacks, Asians, or whoever that has faced discrimination for who they are can relate to the mental turmoil that the X-men go or went through.
Basically, my page ended up being something to uplift black people with the help and (I give all the credit to them) of the people who gave their views and opinions about the black community. I have also added some exercise videos to promote being healthy. I as well as other black people see these things. I have come across the racist comments that are said to divide my race. But, my whole page is not just about black issues. There are some other interests in it. I'm planning to do some vids myself in the future. When I do, I won't hold back. lol. If it's ever possible there can still be some hope for my people. We can't unite if we bash each other. We have to learn to look at the positive things. Don't surround yourself with negativity or it will consume you and eventually confuse you. Eventually at the end of the day for us black folk, we should challenge ourselves into being the black kings and queens we were meant to be. *´¨)
