Her music is the ocean which reveals just the sound of its waves, keeping the depths to its own bosom. Unmatched! I think even her father would find it difficult to match the pure and perfect divinity of her playing...her husband Ravi Shankar cannot simply hold a candle to her music.
This documentary, no doubt well made, has a great flaw. It is about a woman disciple of the great Allaudhin, and many referred to the other (male) disciples with whom she trained, but this documentary made no effort to get the GREAT Annupurna mentioned, also another woman disciple of Allaudin. An...
