Looks like Land Rover does not have an idea of what the Defender stand for, it never was a fashion or trendy car.
It is a work tool, so versatile that itself converted to legend. A legend that enabled the sales of all the other LR brands.

LR is missing what the Defender really stands for: It is a living legend
The image of Defenders in Africa, expeditions, rescues , emergency help is what keeps the brand alive
Destroy it with the DC100 and LR will become just another brand
LR needs to improve reliability, ergonomics, noise, greene...
