Look for a WASR 10/63. About the same price as a wasr 10 and century produced them to a better standard because of the backlash from the 10's. You should still look for all of these issues though.

Yup. because it has a flatter trajectory. The ballistic path is a curve, not a line. The barrel is just tilted off level to cause the bullet to rise. If if didn't the path of the bullet would never rise above the level of the barrel, and therefore the sights wouldn't work at all.
