Not all AK kits with matching numbers will headpsace correctly. You have a used kit. Parts wear. You need to put the barrel in the correct postion (to wear it headspaces correctly) and drill an oversized hole for and oversized barrel pin. OR, you could try a different bolt. All WASRs are made from used surplus parts. It is possible that only your front trunnion is from a 1965 kit. The receiver is built new for the WASR. Romania is exporting their AKs (and parts) and PSL Rifles. From what I understand, they are going to another weapon system that fires a NATO round.
