oh Hello people, we are the funk/metal/jazz group 1048, i'll tell you the story of how this awesome band was formed..... Well, the band was formed by ex members of Early Dawn, Jake Coffey and Bob Brodeur, due to musical difference. Jake, the technical bassplayer, although a huge metalhead, but has a huge desire for jazz and funk bass, has a group idea, an idea taken from the Bass Extremes Video with legends Victor Wooten and Steve Baily. He thought it would be insane if he formed a band like that too, 2 basses and a drummer. Bob was fascinated by the idea and he made up the band name, 1048, which is clever when you think about it, 10 fingers and 48 frets combined, awesome idea. Were making music know, oringinals will be up later this year or the beginning of next year.
