I think Beyonce is the better vocalist. She seems to have more control but she has been vocally trained. For someone Beyonce's high notes and falsettos are a little raspy. They aren't as clear and pure as Ashanti's. Ashanti's runs are nice so are Beyonce's....I just thing Beyonce over does it som...

Vocally: Beyonce is the winner. However Beyonce sometimes does too much. I actually prefer Ashanti's voice. Its alot more clear and smoother and a lot less rough.
