Super Cool! Thanx much for posting,I got to see Fenton several times in Chicago during the 70s.His fluid,jazzy ,style was all his own.His albums will always be a highly valued part of my music collection.

I got this album ,still sealed ,as a "cut out" back in the early 70s. A classic of vintage electric blues from the SF Bay Area,and I only spent $1.98!

Live performance footage of greats like Sam,Earl Hooker,Hound Dog Taylor, etc.are all too rare indeed. Precious stuff.

Andy's evolved and expanded way beyond the 1st time I saw him with Johnny Nitro at the Saloon in SF back about 1989. and he was great then.

Saw Hip several times in the 70s in Chicago on my many blues trips from Milwaukee,still have his LPs too.. He was one of those "under the radar" greats known mostly to locals and hard core blues fans from around the world. Every time I saw him he was really smokin..

I got the album as a cut out back in the seventies (I think on the Bluesway label) that has the pic with Lafayette Thomas and LC. "Good Rockin" Robinson on the swing set shown here.Killer stuff.

Ive been to Blues Special several times (saw Dave Myers there in 97.)the Argentine blues musicians are top notch,and the owner,who I met the last time I was there ,is really a nice guy who has been to many blues venues in the U.S. I wonder what the superb harp player Ruben Gitan, ...

Great post,Loved seeing Littlejohn in Chicago back in the 70s I was at one of his birthday party gigs(at the 1st Kingston Mines,I think) John had a little too much drink too early and nodded out at his table,Luckily Moose Walker was there to keep the show rollin! Great memories.
