Guys, relax, this is an opinion...nobody in this world can proclaim a list to be the best....not even Rolling Stone magazine. This is subjectivity at its highest form. That said, I would say that nothing post 1995 even comes close to making my top 15.....

@Meade3763 However, you forget to mention that Seles was not there in 1986-87-88-93-94-95 for the most part....what was Graf's record against Evert and Navratilova between 1984-1987...miserable....Seles beat Graf in 3-4 GS betwenn 1990-1993....as a teen...they were both great champions and there ...

@personify505 There is some great mystique when a youngster comes out and plays David vs Goliath...very entretaining tennis by Seles throughout her career, especially pre-sttabbing...

Spectacular! This is one of the greatest Canadian pop songs ever. The original, including the haunting rif at the beginning, resonates in my head even now (I was 5 when it first came on the radio). This remake is quite terrific.

@zephyruk I actually think that Wimby 1991 deflated her the most...since she beat Seles again in Rome in 1992 and again lost a thriller to Seles at the French, great talent Sabatini, but my goodness Seles was ferocious, to my mind the most competitive player ever...even more than Graf, Serena or ...

@MrNeilsy I completely disagree. The women's game does not have more depth these days. Players all have the same game which makes watching womens tennis a real snoozefest right now. The competitive fire is not there. Wozniacki is the worst number one ever...no doubt...she is the most boring playe...

@Hoffenheim08 I completely agree, best mover in the history of the game...just a great athlete and Seles, wow the power off both sides...2 of the best ever. Graf's movement is just incredibly smooth...no one moved better than her ever, not even the great Navratilova.

It's just really entertaining to see a young upstart almost defeat such a formidable opponent as Graf in 1989...but clearly a glimpse at a changing of the guard a year later...all their matches at the french were classic with the best being the 1992 final...in my mind the best match in the open e...
