@Frogalooninator: that's the question research is trying to answer i guess. why do we care about imitating or recreating the whole sequence and chimps care about the ends. i think it's naive to say that they are smarter than kids, it might just mean that kids and chimps have different aims.

i don't think "passive" is a good characteristic for Iyengar yoga. Iyengar yoga is systematic and precise, you start with ropes and blocks and gradually move to dynamic yoga. some think it is boring because seemingly there is less dynamics in Iyengar yoga, but it is not true.
