It's because this love is so real...so poignant, that not everything is about rainbows and unicorns, or cotton candies and lollipops, flowers and butterflies. Albeit, whenever fate, destiny, the powers that be and all the rest of the unknown forces of the natural known universe conspire to bring their paths to deliberately and ultimately collide...you just know... This is that romance, so unbridled and pure, upon which future generations of epic love stories are forged.
It's because no two souls have ever been as kindred as these two star-crossed lovers have, with him having traveled 27 galaxies across the universe to be with her. Their connection is so deep, it goes beyond the mutual fact that they're both orphans; their ancestors have also had their own trysts in history, if not hers passing on the knowledge of the universe via a most mysterious tattoo, which happens to be his people's symbol for water and transference.
It's because he'd endure the only pain he's ever known, if it means being close to her. If only four feet away. It's because she was willing to live a life of hell with his greatest enemy- his once best friend, now arch nemesis, if it means saving his life, when that's what he's always been doing in the past with hers. It's because, just like the movie slogan once said, "Nothing's as big as your first love." Or that "First loves are NEVER really over." She will ALWAYS be his 'Girl-next-door.' HIS First Love. For him, "That one's always ONLY going to be HER." How often, after all, can one truly say and claim having ever loved someone the way they did each other? A love like theirs, is something not so many of us see everyday.
It's because it was the power of her magic wand that actually brought him here to Earth with us. And it's because every fairy princess...deserves a prince charming that fell from the sky.
They've had their fair share of pain, and bliss.
