Watching these videos, I am truly struck by how much his voice sounds almost exactly the same on their albums as it does live in concert. Few singers these days can boast that. What a timeless band. I am excited that 30 years after first hearing them I get to see them live at the House of Blue...

I remember my guitar teacher trying to teach me "I don't believe in love" before I ever knew who Queensryche was. The few 'concept bands' I love are bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Tool and Queensryche. Rock on!
