Wouldn't it be more efficient to convert the logs just into planks, instead of sticks?
Because 1 log = 4 planks or 8 sticks
each plank can smelt 1.5 things, making a total of 6 with 4 planks
but it takes 2 sticks to smelt one thing, allowing for only 4 smelts with sticks.
