I tend to agree with you. Dust is the only album with a bit of song diversity. buzz Factory, Uncle and Oblivion are pretty much have the same groove to them. Pearl Jam don't stick to one genre, and in that aspect they my seem more interesnig. And that's coming from diehard ST fan.

As a fan, I can say that Mezmerize/Hypnotize is way weaker than their previous work. Yes, you may say it just sounds different - and I agree, because it sounds ordinary. SOAD was never ordinary, it is a step backwards for them. I think Daron should feel bad about producing such a lousy album.
