Only just started listening to this band, so I decided to cover this song as it sounded like a challenge. Learnt it using tabs however transcribed the parts that didn't sound right by ear. Used a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens instead of the previous f/1.4 lens to try it out, however the quality different is clearly noticeable. We used the Technicolor Cinestyle picture profile this time, so we could boost the colors and levels in post-production, however we feel it doesn't look as good, perhaps due to the lens or perhaps due to the fact that I'm ill, so I couldn't be arsed to edit or grade it properly. We also messed up with the lighting, forgetting to turn my bedroom lights off until after recording. Recorded through a Line 6 Studio UX2 into Pod Farm 2.5, where I then recorded into Reaper 64. I used 2 guitar tracks, 100%L and 100%R, with additional guitars in the centre. Rendered as a 32 bit AIFF file with a sample rate of 82000Hz.

This is a Bellydance video of me, improvising to the song "Anubis" by the Greek death metal band, Septicflesh.
I got inspired to dance to this song, after seeing this band live in Vancouver, a few weeks ago. Despite that inspiration, being myself endlessly in love with Kemet (Ancient Egypt), makes this song and its lyrics about the role of the God Anubis quite beautiful to me.
I am a 19 year-old Persian Bellydancer, with drops of Azerbaijani and Egyptian in my blood. This combination, aside many other reasons, makes me passionate about some of the most beautiful dance forms in the world - Oriental Dances. Out of all the magickal dances of the Middle East, at the age of 15 I fell eternally in love with the spiritual, ancient and immortal art of Bellydance. To this day that undying desire is growing.
