This is definitely my favorite cover of this song. Of course, the original Bauhaus version will always rein supreme for me, but Nouvelle Vague paints a similarly dreary atmosphere. Plus, points for female vocals that actually *work* (well).

Um... without this particular girl, or without a girl period? Because, you know, without female vocals (to, I dunno, *cover* the female vocals) it's a pretty lacking emulation of the original recording.

I will forever be faithful to the original, and that goes for any song really, but I can always appreciate a good cover. On the days I feel like a "harder" version of this song, I'll stick with Patchwork Grace's version. Also, props for female vocals that don't make me want to gag.

It's a pretty decent version. I kind of miss the rawness of Scott Lucas's voice, but the front man here played it up pretty well. I was kind of worried around 1:54 when I thought he was about to turn it into screech metal, so I was glad it didn't go that route.
