I do like the 49ers as a team but all I am saying is Alex Smith isnt the reason they are winning. Its good coaching, defense, and the run game. OVer his entire career Alex Smith averages 178.6 yards a game and has 66 TDs and 58 INts....not what you expect from a former number one pick

Cam's offense was centered completely around him. Ohio State ran multiple offenses. The multiple offenses prepared him better for the NFL but if he would have been in a system that relied more on him he would have had similar stats to Cam.

@UJELLYBROTHER2 I believe I heard something similar about a guy by the name of Troy Smith...he turned out to be a pretty good college QB i guess. I mean he only threw for 2500 yds 30 TDs and 6INTs his senior year and had over 1000 rushing yards in his career at THE Ohio State University
