Beautiful rifle. I have a 1917 oberndorf mauser 98, and in 1935 it was made into a Kar98k for world war two. I believe this model is quite valuable.

The mauser definately deserves its place on the list. Extreme accuracy, long range, decent punch considering it's a 7.92mm, 5 round internal magazine, and a bolt so smooth a toddler could operate it. Kicks like a mule though, and leaves a bruise too. Ouch!
