Me and my wife went to San Francisco in September 2010. We went across the bridge on a tourst bus but later in our vacation we hired some cycles, went across the bridge (and stopping at various times) took some photos. When we reached the other side we then went down into a town calles Sausalito....

Went to San Francisco in September 2010. Absolutely loved it and the locals were fantastic. Unfortunately, it has too many homeless, apart from that it is great. Remember one thing though: It can be chilly in the morning and the late afternoon. Taking something to where over your t-shirt.
