About Me:
I drive my mum's 2003 Toyota Yaris. My favourite car is the latest Volvo XC70. I love modern diesel engines.
I like Volvo, Ford, Vauxhall (Opel), Toyota, VW, and some other manufacturers. I don't like Peroduas, Jeeps or Protons and I'm not really keen on Mitsubishi's or Nissans, apart from the Nissan Navara. The Nissan Cube is interesting too...
I am always interested in improving my driving, so constructive criticism and comments are welcome. I passed my test November 2009 with 4 minor errors. I have also completed the pass plus scheme and have read the latest Roadcraft book from cover to cover.
On another (random) note, I also strongly believe that no emergency vehicle should have only red lights. An equal mix of blue and red is a lot more visible than just red. Blue on its own is probably even better, but I believe that consistency is key to emergency vehicle lighting and for this reason, I don't like the inconsistency of lighting regulations in North America. As an example, POV lighting and siren regulations and law vary greatly across the US and Canada.
I also love seeing green LEDs being used on emergency vehicles, they are a bit brighter than blue but seem just as visible. It isn't really a commonly used colour though.
Country:
United Kingdom
Schools:
Droitwich Spa High School, Now at Writtle College in Essex
Interests:
Cycling, driving, Lego, emergency vehicles
Movies:
Shrek, The Grinch, Troll 2, Superbad...
Music:
Sigur Ros, Jonsi, Foster The People, Arrested Development, Fort Minor, Gorillaz, Linkin Park and a lot more...
Books:
Roadcraft, Argos catalogue, Top gear magazine (does that count as a book?).

It looked as though you had, the videos don't shake at all!
Thanks for that :)
It brought back memories, thanks.
I like the way you have pointed out certain things along our roads, like the different type of hydrant. Never could understand the States where they have their Hydrants on top of the paving. It must cost a bomb to maintain these when, as will happen more or less regularly, they are 'nudged or just plane knocked down ?
Take care

I have subbed and invited you, and allowed to be notified of any new videos from you, but I may have to rethink that in the future. I currently have over 5000 emails to wade through, so if you suddenly see I have asked not to be notified, it does not mean I am not watching your stuff, OK?
Take care

The Queen of England is in your country.
I just thought I tell you just in case you did not notice.
