you can have 30round mags in CA, you just cannot buy them here or have them shipped here. You can buy the 10/30 Pmag mags, then buy a rebuild kit to make them 30.

I know mine pulls hard all the way up to 7500rpms, power in mine may drop a little but not much at 7000rpms. On a side not I do have a built motor and KB s/c'er. When stock it would pull hard up to 62-6500rpms, if its losing power by 5500rpms, something is wrong.

I did something similar with my 9mm 92FS beretta and besides the slide not moving like normal(like silk) it jammed 1 time out of 100 more rounds though it!
