This movie is not Guadalcanal. Uniforms and weapons are from a later campaign, maybe New Guinea. Note camo helmet covers, complete camo utilities, M-1 rifles and carbines. None of that was available on Guadalcanal in 1942. Sad they can't even get a documentary right.
