I thought drag cars focused on top-end power so they usually would have a single monster turbo? Drag cars can build boost before launch... A wide powerband is more essential on the street than on the track

BrettSummer: that is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. Air would never, ever flow backwards out of the intake manifold of an engine while running, much less hard enough to spool a turbo backwards or bend the fins of a centrifugal supercharger. Not all turbo engines even have blowoff ...
