@ZachManZ71 Nah, i doubt it. Even if it did increase 5-10 hp, it's not really noticable. I didn't trust a cheap crappy air filter so I put a K&N filter in the factory airbox, which boosted the mpg's a little.

@MarshalZhukov It does drone/resonate inside a little at certain rpm's, but not nearly as much as a super 44 or 40 series. It's still quiet enough to talk or listen to the radio. I would recommend Dynomax bullets or dynomax ultraflow mufflers-much better quality than blowmasters!

Nice truck. I hope you have better luck than I've had maintaining black paint - it's a pain in the ass! Have you thought about a dynomax ultraflow or perhaps a borla exhaust? Super Loud exhaust and lux trucks don't mix in my opinion.

Nice work, looks better than alot of "professional" tint jobs I've seen. Wish I wouldve attempted this earlier, now it's December and I'll have to wait for spring.

That's a huge difference! The stock bulbs look yellow compared to the xenons.

But it's a turbo'd v6! That engine belongs in a ricer, not a truck. I'd rather have a v8.

@55quadboy check out the cherry bomb extremes, or if you get glass packs check out dynomax bullets. They both sound awesome on a chevy. Corsa sounds good too, but they are pricey. Good luck!

Nice truck and the exhaust sounds great. I like the tone a corsa puts out with a gm engine. I don't like how pricey Corsa systems are. I agree with you about the other brands. I kind of regret putting a blowmaster 50 series on my sierra - not loud enough and it does drone, although it's not unbea...

I like the discussion on black paint. I have a black truck and it will be the last black vehicle i buy. Black looks sexy but it shows every speck of dirt, dust, and fine scratches more than light colors. All dark colors, ESP black, show scratches more than light colors.

Looks like a cherry bomb extreme to me, not a resonator. If you like the sound, just cut off the turndowns and run two pipes out the back. That should tone it down a tad.

Did you rhino line the truck on the bottom 1/4 or did you have it done? I've got an 02 and i just noticed a couple small surface rust bubbles on the cab corners (where GM's always start rusting for some reason) I might have to slap some huculiner on there to slow it down. Thanks man!

@Boxer306 yeah I know what you mean about the older gm engines. I was going for that "rap" tone on my truck. Flowmaster super 44's are the only exhaust that makes that kind if tone I think, everything else is alot smoother.

@mvdiablo yea but you have to consider the weights of each car too, I don't know but I bet the chevy is also the heaviest.
