Maybe the Irish in Ireland should learn Gaeilge and the Irish in Britain learn Gaidhlig (scot-Gaeilc), the Gaelic dialect of the first Irish Diaspora

If people in Ireland learn Irish-Gaelic in schools and places, then maybe people of Irish descent in Britain should learn Scottish-Gaelic. After all, we're all descended from Gaels, we should learn the local variant of Gaelic.

I don't get why the Scotland and England are two different countries. They're basically the same people - white, English speaking anglo-saxons. Scotland really is just the northernmost part of England.

Why has no one bothered to encourage the Irish Diaspora to learn Irish?? They were the ones who re-energised Irish dancing and music. Maybe they could save the language from almost certain extinction too......
