nice I have a stock Nassau Blue targa coupe in the garage. Black interior. The color is timeless and catches more attention then most. It doesnt need go faster stuff because the local roads are patrolled heavily.

Bad Miata Engine Sound
Does anyone have a guess what this sound is?

I have the same sound. I have not taken it apart yet, but the timing belt was done on mine about 10k ago.. I'm thinking they didn't replace the water pump or the tensioners. It would be interesting to find out if you fixed it, or what the end game was for you.
miata bad engine noise
I don't know what these horrible diesel-like sounds are. This is a brand new built motor with wiseco FM pistons, belfab rods. Ideas?

for low end, you would have low oil pressure. That knock means it's time for an overhaul

sounds like top end, bad lobe on cam, or out of time, spark plug missing. If low end maybe a wrist pin.

Corvette is faster. Road and Track says handling and braking are first class. Americans have more choices then Europeans regarding motorsports. My choices for Less then $500 Grand are:
