The reason why I love Jupiter is pretty simple. They're boys.
For many years before Jupiter's appearance, girls have been begging for male idols to come into Idolm@ster, thus we have these gender-bent idols created from 765Pro girls. Because of that, people created an "iM@S Girl's Side".
However, NBGI never really did create a male idol and fans (mostly female, if possible) begged for female producers and male idols, hoping maybe one day there would really be a "Girl's Side" for iM@S.
Then on Sept 18th, it finally happened...
Jupiter was announced. Some fans rejoiced and some (mostly) didn't. I understand that male idols being in iM@S is one big change for NBGI and fans do not approve of this news but if we keep putting female idols into iM@S for the next few years. It's going to get really boring, I mean...look, don't people ever wonder that what would happen if Jupiter didn't exist? The whole franchise is going to get a bit dull soon, people won't be interested in it if they don't change that sooner, maybe iM@S anime wouldn't be here either without Jupiter's existence.
Like them or hate them, Jupiter will not be forgotten, they will forever be loved by their fans, including me.
