Its amazing that some people can have such a profound effect even four decades after their death. Janice Joplin was the one of a kind, only imitated, icon of blues/rock that became the measuring rod for all others. No one has come close to her in terms of influence on the genre, and thats ok ...

@Polybun Having blown up a few engines racing, and fixing them for a living, I can tell you this. Back fires DONT expel from the cylinder jug to head area. Then go out the TAIL PIPE or the INTAKE! This "backfire" came out of the jug seals!

I dont think you are fully aware of the politics behind aid in Israel. Either way, after nearly 70 years of aiding Israel they need to get weaned from the American taxpayers wallet. By now if they cant be self supporting then they never will be. They probably will sic the ADL on me for saying ...
