i have a 500L reef tank witch is basically a 130gallon

i have a sump and refugium and the best way to get rid of the alge inside the display tank is to keep the light that is on the refujium on for 5 or 6 more hours after the main tanks lights have turned off.

that way the algee grows...

i got really luky with my damsel, i took a qwick shot as if i was going to catch a fly and i caught him =)...

this is a very random question, but do you think you will ever come to australia ?

obviously if a beginner is going to get into marine, they are going to do there research on how involved you would have to be before u start a marine aquarium

u need actinic lighting

the tank would look much better with sum t5 actinic lighting

i had a sea apple and it looked so good

but avetually something pissed it off and it killed everything in my tank

beleave me if you have alot of money invested in ur tank, its not worth it.

even if your water chemistry is perfect it can still happen.

i herd that xzenia only grows in the flow of the water

meaning if the direction of the flow is just to the right side of the tank , then it is more likely to just stay on that side.

but if you have flow all around your tank.. then it will most likely grow all over your tank
