i have both woofers before. the solo x is guud but it blows way to much. the btl sounds better, last longer and flexes alot more then the solo x. the solo x hits better highs though. but who likes high bass??

i agree wit doutchy42069 the 18 inch btl are mainly used to burp. you can put up to 6k rms on them things. but usually after that you got to recone it. he probably isnt putting any power into the sub at all. and its def not a small box woofer so you can put low amount of power and expect it to be...

These subs are made for straight spl and burping. They require a full amount of power but once you get them power they eventually go out after a while. i have a 2001 cavalier with just one in there with a box built to ts-w5000spl specs powered by a kx 2500 and it flexed my doors adn when my windows were half way down they moved in and out. get some power for it and you see what im talkin bout.
