I'm gonna be studying jazz at NYJA in a few months and I'm thoroughly impressed with Javier's knowledge and musicianship.

This was amaaaaing, the Valkyries "riding" the movable parts of this incredible stage -- so much better seen as a live performance (or in HD as I did) ! Absolutely dramatic and very , very creative!

Modal playing like this allows such freedom with extended melodies, almost meditative. And very interesting harmonies between the horns - any two notes of that dorian scale would go well together. A favorite!

I play jazzz violin and it rocks. It's the player, not the instrument.

Brad Goode plays trumpet and teaches at CU in Boulder, CO. He's a phenomenal player and a great jazz teacher. He also has some wicked chops on drums and bass, and is pretty darn wicked on the piano, too.

Hysterical! I'm learning how to play the cowbell, if anyone needs one in their band. Just sayin.'
