Tablets are quite nice for their size. From what I've seen, their graphics are easily beating the other purely portable gaming solutions, like the PSvita, but they still don't have anywhere near the power of a gaming laptop running a gtx 555m or similar, middle-end piece of tech.

All it does is increase the resolution and decrease the render distance.

He basically told you to set your shadows to ultra, and then chop them off past 2000 units to save fps. It's not a fix, it just hides the problem. You can easily tell if you look at a distance.

You know you can play in multiplayer with a lightsaber in first person? This method is PC only.

1. Open the console (NOT for game consoles) menu by pressing Shift and ~ at the same time.

2. Type CG_fpls 1

3. Enjoy 1st person :)

4. To go back to 3rd person, open the console again and type CG_fpl...

This is why HGEC is good. Any problem can be solved with the proper application of genitalia.

On another note, would you rather play Skyrim with no ENB on ultra at 60fps, or amazing looking ENB Skyrim on high settings at 30fps? That's the choice that faces me now.

Does anyone have any idea why I only get 30fps outdoors with this overhaul on middle settings? I have a GTX 460, so you'd think that'd be enough. Now that I think of it, I get abnormally low framerates on Oblivion as well. It's probably my Phenom II @3.2Ghz...

Yes, it is a budget card. Unfortunately, pc games are also made for consoles, and consoles right now suck. Ergo, all modern game graphics are lagging behind what they should be, ergo the 6770 is actually a good choice if you can't afford something better.

COD4: Modern Warfare has a Star Wars multiplayer mod. So does Arma 2, somewhat.

@MrFer115 It's actually a pretty good cpu. It's no i7@5.0Ghz, but it's one of the upper-end CPUs all things considered. Mine is the same, but at 3.2Ghz, and it never comes close to maxing out when playing Skyrim on ultra with ENB. My GTX 460 is the weakest link, and most people consider that a go...

I hate it when people ask if something like this is a mod. If you don't know, assume it's a mod. they're quite widespread around Oblivion.

Lol, I know. I've never downloaded this mod, and I never will. This is so unrealistic I half expect Todd Howard to strangle me in my sleep if I install it.
