Howard creates the policies (or lack of them) that influence the interest rates. He does not control them, true, but it is very clear that his lack of leadership has led to higher interest rates.
Why were you not aware you were sacked for half a year? Were the paychecks still coming in? Usually unless the employer tells you bluntly and clearly you are sacked, you are still an employee. Unless there is clear evidence you were sacked on that date I would not have thought your employer would...
