A PERSONAL commitment to human rights and unearthing long-hidden secrets has inspired the work of Uki Goñi from the start.
The writer has been the object of countless interviews by international media such as Discovery, History, the BBC and other media in the US, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Italy.
His book "The Real Odessa" reveals the true story of the Nazi escape from Europe.
Apart from his ground-breaking work as a researcher of recent history, Uki has written for world media such as Time in the US and the Guardian and Observer in London.
Uki was born in Washington DC and raised in the US, Argentina, Mexico and Ireland. He interrupted his studies at Trinity College, Dublin, at the age of 21, to settle in Buenos Aires, the native city of his parents.
During Argentina's bloody 1976-83 dictatorship Uki was one of very few journalists in the country who reported on the thousands of 'disappearances' carried out by the military.
